Transcriptions – Process

What do you have to do?

• Send us the documents as xeros of optimal quality with a request that we trancscribe them. For longer manuscripts a few sample pages are sufficient. Please do not send originals.
  
• You can send us the copies by ordinary mail or the scanned originals as images or PDF files by email.
  
• Regional features such as special subject areas are often key in successfully transcribing the document.
  
• We will then send you an estimate of the costs of the transcription.
  
• Should you find our estimate acceptable, your order will be processed and you will receive the transcription in the form you request.

Prices

The price depends on the legibility of the documents and on the difficulty in transcribing them. We can estimate the costs only after we have taken a closer look at the document.
